Accepted Student NYC Course Registration & Financial Aid Assistance
Information Sessions with a Campus Tour
Attend an information session presented by an admission professional. The information session will highlight GCC’s programs and services, details about the enrollment process, and provide time to answer your questions. Then, take a tour of the Batavia campus including College Village.
- The information session will be around 30 mins in length.
- The campus tour will be around 60 mins in length.
- Tour will include College Village (student housing).
- Please dress comfortably.
In-Person Campus Tour
Explore SUNY Genesee’s Batavia campus in a smaller setting with other prospective students.

Admissions Appointments
Talk one-on-one with an admissions counselor to discuss your specific interests and questions about GCC. Appointments can be done in-person, via phone or through online video. Request an appointment.
Group Visits
Interested in bringing a group of students to campus for a visit? We welcome larger groups, but ask that you arrange your visit in advance so that we can best meet your needs. Visits are available Monday through Friday. To schedule your visit, complete the Group Visit Form and an Admissions Representative will be in contact with you to help organize your day.
Please note that 1 adult chaperone is required for every 10 students in a group. Thank you.
Class Visits
Class visits are available during the fall and spring semesters. If you are interested in visiting one of GCC’s many classes, we would be happy to make arrangements for you. Class visits are available Monday through Friday during the fall and spring semesters. Please email the Office of Admissions at least one week in advance.
SUNY Reconnect Information Session
Thinking about going back to college? Join us for a virtual SUNY Reconnect Information Session to learn how eligible adults (ages 25–55) can return to school tuition-free. Hear from GCC staff in Financial Aid, Student Success, and AEOC, and get answers to your questions during a live Q&A.
Nursing Program Information Sessions
To apply for either the traditional 2-year/4-semester RN program or the Advanced Placement (LPN to RN) track at SUNY Genesee, please attend a Nursing Information Session. Be sure to register for the appropriate session, Advanced Placement LPN to RN sessions are for current LPNs seeking an accelerated program.
Veterinary Technology Information Sessions
To register for the Vet Tech information session. please click on the date and time that works for you. All times are in Eastern Standard Time (EST). You will receive an email confirmation providing details for the virtual event.
Physical Therapist Assistant Information Sessions
Before enrolling in the PTA program, prospective students are highly encouraged to attend an information session to learn about the exciting and rewarding field of physical therapy. To sign up for a Physical Therapis Assistant Information Session, please call Pam Reed: (585) 343-0055 ext. 6402.
Respiratory Care Information Sessions
Before enrolling in the Respiratory Care program, prospective students are highly encouraged to attend an information session.
Instant Admission Event
Join an admissions counselor for a workshop where we will walk you through the online GCC application. Registration is optional. Walk-ins are welcome.
Major Exploration Days
Please join us on this unique exploratory campus tour! Whether you have a career path in mind or remain undecided, this program will allow one to “experience” several degree programs. On this 1 1/2 hour walk, there will be brief “tour stops” at our state of the art labs and classrooms where you can gain valuable information such as:
- View short micro-demonstrations
- Participate in an experiments
- Hear short and sweet talks from professors
- Explore technologies
